Another star up in the sky.
Another family now are grieving,
Another reason to ask why.
Another life cut short, wasted,
Another pain filled memory.
Another grave to tend forever,
Another burial under yew tree.
Another life snuffed out to early,
Another friend lost now to all.
Another name crossed off a guest list,
Another loss bitter as gall.
Without You.It's cold and lonely in this place,Without You. by *Cuddlepuss
it's dark and soulless too.
It's depressing and miserable,
sat here without you.
I close my eyes to recall,
the sweetness of your smile.
I imagine warm arms now,
wrapping round me for a while.
Where you've gone I cannot follow,
I must stay behind a time.
Then when I look around me,
and see a memory, my spirit starts to climb.
I always will remember,
I never can forget.
Your cheeky grin or happy giggle,
always with me yet.
When my time comes sweetheart,
I know that you'll be there.
Awaiting my final return,
my destiny you share.
